Web Programming consists of 1) designing the layout of the website and the look / design of the web pages; 2) programming the source code for the HTML / PHP pages; 3) integrating your information / images to your web pages.

The difference between using HTML pages and using PHP pages is whether or not you want your pages to be static or dynamic. Static pages display specific information set into the HTML code, where as Dynamic pages (using PHP) retrieve page information from a database each time a user visits the page, which means the information could be different each day.

Most database programming corresponds with design of a web site. Database programming consists of 1) initial creation of the database and its subsequent tables, 2) web page interaction with the database (to retrieve information to be displayed), and 3) [optional] the creation of administration pages to input, edit, or delete data from the database.

The advantage of using a database to retrieve information for you page is that the information can remain up-to-date and can be alter daily.

Updates consist of any alteration of information or design of your website whether it is something small (changing your phone number or an image) or something more detailed like adding a new product or new area of interest. Misspellings or other miskeyed errors are our mistake and are fixed at no charge to you.
